Alright. Blogging. I know that a lot of those who stumble across this blog don't know what a blog is, much less how to deal with one. But a blog is one of the ways that Odosagih will be able to communicate recent happenings without waiting to see it three months later in the newsletter.
The "blogger" is the person writing these communications. Hi, I'm Cherilyn. It's lovely to meet you. I have a passion for writing and communicating and I'm excited to be able to share the summer's events with you via this platform. My style is less than formal, as most blogs are. Ideally, my casual tone will help you to feel more connected with what's going on. At times, I can be sarcastic, which I know is not communicated clearly in a text-only platform. Still, it's part of me and it will undoubtedly surface in my writing. Call me out on it if it's too much.
I hope you check back often or subscribe to the RSS feed and have these posts delivered to your computer via an RSS reader, like Google Reader. Enjoy!

Summer is almost here and with it comes the summer conference at Odosagih. Our full time staff has been gearing up by cleaning and organizing and repairing things as well as praying fervently for the upcoming weeks at Odosagih.
In preparation for the summer, please be praying. And remember to download the summer's brochure. While you're at it, check out two new photo galleries, one from the Ladies' Retreat and one from Memorial Day!

During April 5-7, Roger, Maryann, Dave, Janice, Karen, and Cherilyn attended the Christian Camp and Conference Association's chapter conference. It took place in Pittsfield, MA, at Lakeside Christian Camp and Conference Center. Sessions were offered regarding a variety of topics such as marketing, hospitality, food service, maintenance, etc. The speaker for the week was Bill Paige who is associated with Young Life. Worship for the week was led by Commandment 11.
Overall, the week was both informative and fun. Feel free to ask us about it!
